Politicians in the House of Commons are currently debating and voting on our future relationship with the EU. (European Union.) A referendum was held on June 23rd 2016 and the people voted leave. They are now known as the Brexiteers. As opposed to the remainers. Who have more support in the House than the Brexiteers which is why it is taking so long to get us out of this dilemma.

This is probably the biggest betrayal of the British public, at least in my lifetime. They vote to leave but the elites and our so called superiors are placing as many barriers in their way as they possibly can. We are now well into the eleventh hour and there is no answer in sight.

We were asked if we wanted to break away from the EU and go it alone and we said yes. But our politicians say no. If ever there was a time that the great British public would be justified in marching on Whitehall with pitchforks and torches, it would be now.

I live in the USA and could I see that happening here? Don’t know. Don’t care. The American political system with its checks and balances is as corrupt as any other Western Government I can think of. Those of us in the West have lost faith in our leaders. eg. Macron beating back the yellow vests in France.

So the bigger picture here is showing us how transparently disingenuous our leaders are. And to top it off today some semi naked climate protesters glued their backsides to the glass screen in the strangers gallery. The view looking up from the chamber would not be pretty but neither are the ways these entitled politicians are taking the country for a ride. A revolution, not necessarily semi naked, is long overdue.
