Watched the Five at five o’clock tonight as usual on Fox News and didn’t realize how bad it really was. There’s something about people laughing at their own jokes, or perceived humor, which gets my hackles up and this is relentless throughout the arguing and bickering which never really gets anywhere on this one hour magazine.
Dana’s voice is hard to take, Jesse and Greg are mildly amusing but react hysterically to their lame observations. Whoever is taking the Dem seat is infuriating because hardly any viewer can stand Juan Williams with his sardonic self satisfied smirk as he argues with his foes across the table.
But what is it with Donna Brazile? Where did she come from? The cheat who handed Hillary the questions during the Presidential debate and other such ails, most we are probably not aware of.
And last night a Townhall meeting with one Bernie Sanders on the Fox News Channel who was treated courteously and with dignity even though his political ideology runs in the opposite direction of the Fox News network.
Mr Murdoch has turned Fox over to his kids and it looks fairly obvious where their political lines are drawn. Fox was at one time, the only News network favorable to the conservative point of view. A platform for Republicans who would not be accommodated so favorably on any other News channel.
So it looks as though as we head into 2020, Fox are tweaking away at their schedules and eventually the old Fair and Balanced Network will be anything but. Farewell, we hardly knew ye.
