So I disagree with a friend
And It drives me round the bend,
It’s a friendship I can’t mend
So this fight will never end.
But it’s a friend I can’t say I know
So maybe if I just lay down low
For a week or to show
There was a real place I could go
To meet real people, and not fake
Profiles, hard to break.
Reality is not on the make
My soul I shan’t forsake
So I’m quitting online dreams
Where nothing is what it seems
Where I delude myself and pretend
The farce will never end.

Online dreams…there’s nothing real and people pretend a lot. You’ve touched the right chord in this poem…
